Three siblings, orphaned, need a future — not just charity

This is not simply a case of financial poverty. It is a family caught at the intersection of interrupted education, child labour, inadequate housing, bereavement and intergenerational poverty.
Three young people have lost their mother while already living without many of the protections most people take for granted — secure housing, basic utilities, stable employment and access to education.
Despite their circumstances, the siblings have continued trying to survive.
Azura has worked since childhood.
Azmira persevered long enough to complete SPM despite uncertainty surrounding her.
Fourteen-year-old Azam is already looking for manual work despite being unable to read.
Their mother's passing should not mark the beginning of another cycle in which these three young people simply disappear into poverty and informal employment.
The immediate priority is to stabilise the family — secure their housing and basic needs, protect Azam and create realistic education & employment pathways for all three siblings.
With coordinated intervention from welfare organisations, government agencies, legal advocates and donors, there remains an opportunity to give these siblings something they currently do not have: security and a realistic pathway towards an independent future.
