Mohanram continues to receive endless support from caring Malaysians

For decades, 62-year-old Mohanram Atchuthan led a modest but stable life, working in construction and earning just enough to support his wife and four children.
But everything changed in March 2022, when he suffered a stroke that left him unable to speak, read, write, or remember things the way he once could. With Mohanram no longer able to work, his family has been left without a source of income. His wife, 49-year-old Ananti David, and their four children – aged between 12 and 23 – have been struggling to get by.

Sasikiren, Mohanram's eldest son, has been given a full scholarship to further his tertiary studies.
The family of five (5) will receive financial aid for the next 1 ½ years.

His eldest child, Sethu, is currently pursuing a degree in Business Management at Sunway University on a Kuok Foundation scholarship and the second son Shashekiran, is hoping to continue with his architectural studies at the tertiary level. However, the family needs to raise more funds to not only cover the two sons’ academic pursuits but also to meet daily expenses.
The family needs at least RM3,600 per month to cover their immediate needs such as rental, utilities, sundries and medical expenses for his father. Over and above that is the cost of seeing the two sons through university and their younger children — a boy and a girl — through school.
