A brighter future beckons for B Muggnisuari and her five children, thanks to the generosity of FMT readers.
Less than a week after the poverty-stricken family’s plight was highlighted, a whopping RM430,000 in donations has already been collected. “It’s enough for the family to start a new life,” said Suriana Welfare Society chairman James Nayagam.
FMT is collaborating with the Suriana Welfare Society, a registered NGO, which will manage the provision of assistance for the family.
