Remembering Haris Ibrahim: A Small Act of Kindness

1 min read

Thank you Saya Anak Bangsa Malaysia for contributing towards our efforts in uplifting the lives of children & families in underserved and vulnerable communities.

Haris's heart-rending sharing of his personal experience,

posted on April 6, 2010 in his blog "People's Parliament", ...

... illustrates so powerfully his deep concern and love for the helpless and destitute:

Haris longed not only for deprived segments of society to be treated fairly but also for them to know they belonged. In one media interview, he said:

“... I am pro-rakyat, particularly pro the 40 percent poor and marginalised."
