More than a language, English becomes a pathway for new self-expression & discovery

Our students at Taman Desaria had the opportunity to strengthen their English communication skills through a lively and interactive workshop conducted by a dedicated Indonesian volunteer, Mr. Didin Wahyudi. With his fluency and teaching experience, Mr. Didin generously volunteered his time to give back to the community and support Suriana’s educational mission.

The session was filled with motivational sharing, engaging games, and interactive activities that kept students actively involved from start to finish... but what made the biggest impact was seeing students grow in confidence. Those who were initially shy began speaking simple English during activities and discussions. By the end of the workshop, they were more comfortable, confident, and happy to express themselves.

We are grateful for volunteers like Mr Didin Wahyudi who inspire our children to see English as a valuable global language and encourage them to continue practising in their daily lives.
